About Us

Here is An Luong, a passionate, responsible, and handsome restaurateur. Born in Vietnam, An moved to Europe (Germany) at the age of nine, where he learned about German culture and grew up. His life and work are governed by discipline, punctuality, and hard work—a philosophy he upholds.

An’s journey into hospitality is a story of family and dedication. Growing up, his family owned a restaurant in East Germany, near Poland. An witnessed firsthand the hard work and dedication his parents poured into their business every day, striving to provide a good education and opportunities for their children. Instead of attending parties after school, An and his siblings would go to the restaurant to help their parents. Over time, his father entrusted him with the family’s culinary secrets, teaching him the art of hospitality.

An learned the intricacies of Asian cuisine while in Germany, blending the rich culinary traditions of his heritage with the precision and quality he admired in German culture. He strongly believes in “Qualität statt Quantität” (quality over quantity), a principle that guides his work at Le Resto.

For An, hospitality is not about showing off or being the best chef in the world. It is about focusing on your job and ensuring your guests have a great time, sharing that positive energy with the world. After university, An returned to the family restaurant to hone his skills further.

WE KNOW YOUR PROBLEMS

1

Lack of Dining Variety

Residents of New Castle and the surrounding areas face a frustrating lack of dining options, with few places offering variety or high-quality experiences. Many are tired of unhealthy, uninspired fast food from chains and long for an exceptional culinary experience that delights the taste buds and nourishes the soul.

2

Time Constraints and Poor Service

Busy lives make it nearly impossible to cook real, authentic food at home, leading to a forgotten joy of home-cooked meals and no time for meal prepping. When dining out, poor service often results in frustration and lingering dissatisfaction, leaving diners with bad energy after the meal.

3

Event Hosting Stress

Hosting events poses significant challenges due to a lack of suitable venues for professional meetings, private parties, or club gatherings. This forces many to use their own homes, resulting in endless preparation, hosting duties, and cleanup, creating a mountain of stress and headache.
